My story

　　Hi, pals! My name is Sweetie Pie. As my name implies, I’m a sugary-sweet girl who is hard to resist. I’m a 1.5-year-old, 42-pound terrier mix. I was recently rescued south of the border alongside my puppies. Fast-forward and I’m spayed, healthy, and ready to settle into a furever home! I’m currently taking Apoquel to help with skin itchiness and allergies. A two-month supply is ~$80.00. Once I’ve established a vet, we can cook up a plan for long-term care.

　　I’m a playful pup who loves running around with other pooches. I prefer slow, off-leash introductions. I am a big fan of tug-o-war and chasing around my furry pals. I’m also a big fan of humans! I’ve only met older kids but I was super sweet and we got along well. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. Although I can turn up the fun at playtime I’m really a relaxed girlie. I love to kick back and relax. I adore lazy days on the couch and being your cuddle buddy. Life’s all about balance!

　　I’m making great pawgress with my leash training. I get excited to go out and pull in the beginning but I settle down after a few minutes of exploring. I have the occasional accident inside but I’m 90% there with house training. I don’t have much separation anxiety but I am guaranteed to greet you with a wagging tail and plenty of love when you get home!

　　My ideal furever home is one that has another playful pup who will be my buddy. I’m truly the best of both worlds and love a little playtime but also settling down for some snuggles. So what do you say? Grab your own slice of heaven and take home Sweetie Pie!
