Sweet's story

　　Say hello to Sweet! Sweet is the sort of dog that has the personality to charm everyones pants off. EVERYONE falls in love with her right away; she makes friends instantly and loves to greet newcomers with a wagging tail and big smile. She is one of the most balanced and well-rounded dogs I have ever met. She is 10 years old, weighs 13 lbs and was turned into the shelter because her owner was having a baby. Her last family certainly named her appropriately: she knows her name well and comes immediately when called. She is looking for a home where she can be someones very best forever friend and is the quintessential lap dog. She follows you all around the house but is not underfoot. She is house trained and crate trained, but Sweet does not need a crate while you are away. She will gladly nap on her dog bed and greet you at the door with a wagging tail when you return home. Sweet loves to play with her toys, she loves to play a good game of tug of war. She is fantastic with other dogs as well as cats...and did we mention she adores people? ;)

　　Sweet is SO gentle, we can clearly see why she was named Sweet. She takes treats ever so gently from your hand. She would be a good companion for another dog who needs a friend. We would love to find a home where someone is home a lot, and she needs a fenced yard.

　　Sweet is spayed, current on vaccines, has had her teeth professionally cleaned, negative for heartworms and current on preventatives, and microchipped. Once you meet Sweet, there is no going back.
