My story
Brief BioThis little girl was born for adventure! Very social, energetic, and curious!A6Summary of PersonalityShe is very outgoing, high energy, and affectionate. She is quick to warm up to new faces and is eager to play with toys and gives lots of kisses. She is also very adventurous and likes to explore her new environments with the company of a friend. She is very social and needs a lot of interaction while she is awake.Experience with Dogs, Cats, or other AnimalsShe was around her sibling (8 weeks) and a 2 1/2 year old german shepherd female. She does have resource guarding issues towards other dogs, so supervision with high valued food or toys is advised. Otherwise, she is very playful and loving towards other dogs.Experience with children, or children that visit the homeShe had experience with 2 children ages 6 years old and 8 years old under supervision and instruction on proper handling. She gets really excited with children and may accidentally scratch face to give kisses.Include any observations of being house trained (or not)She is working on being potty trained and shows potential with consistency and clear communication. Is your foster crate trained?YesCrate Training ObservationsShe does well in the crate. She enjoys having a nice warm blanket and a fluffy toy nearby to snuggle with. After exercising, eating, and eliminating I would crate her. She may cry for 3 minutes but settles down quickly and goes to sleep. Things my foster family has been teaching/working with me onTeething and keeping paws on the floor (not jumping and scratching on legs). For teething we supplement skin with a toy. For jumping and scratching, we do not give her attention until all fours are down and reward with pets and play.
