Well, that's another story. Poor parenting likely..So.... after PRS came out with their neck through design, Fender answered with this guitar line in the late 1980's called, Heartfield also known as "Fender Heartfield". This was a high end neck through design offered by Fender and their slogan was, "The New Experience in Luxury Vehicles" and believe me, playing this guitar is a new experience with all the refinements that bring a guitar from awesome to incredibly awesome. Originally this line came with active electronics that required an extra battery to run the pickups. I removed that the moment the guitar was bought and before I even brought it home, I had it customized with a George Lynch "Screamin' Demon" humbucker at the bridge and a Fender Hotrail humbucker at the neck. The trem arm is missing but this is a Gotoh licensed Floyd Rose so a replacement will be easy to find. Custom mini switches were installed and can switch each humbucker to single coil front and back with a 3 way selector enabling HUGE tonal capacity. The neck profile is a medium C and the radius is an incredible 16.9 degrees for super low and fast action. There is fret wear but you'd never know it. This guitar plays like liquid lightning. There has never been another guitar made like this one, EVER. It is the only one on Ebay listed in the entire world. The guitar cosmetically is fantastic with light wear and a ding or two (pictured). This was my main stage guitar from 1 and the case shows wear from being on the road but it is quite sound structurally and very clean inside. This is a super rare shredder and impossible to find.
