Description

  My story

SUNNY (SUNSHINE) is a WHITE WITH BROWN SPOTS SIAMESE MIX with light blue eyes in a sweet little face. She is approximately 1 ½ years old, spayed, has all her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and microchipped. She weighs a little over 7 lbs.

Sunny’s foster mom thinks that this little lady is a ray of sunshine with her confident, outgoing and affectionate purrsonality. Sunny can’t wait for the foster mom to come open the door to the foster room and spend some time with her. She will roll over and expose her little tummy for some belly rubs. Then she runs out of the foster room to explore and to chase some balls which she likes to bat around. She will even play fetch and bring the balls back to her foster mom.

She allows herself to be picked up for some smooches on her little pixie face and after a while she gets a bit wiggly because, hey, she is busy and needs to do some more exploring. Sunny’s foster mom likes to take the occasional therapeutic afternoon nap, which gives little Sunny the opportunity to make herself comfy cozy and to act as a leg/tummy warmer…it sure can’t get any more therapeutic than that.

Sunny would do very well with a gentle dog who loves his or her kitties. Because she still is so energetic, she tends to be too domineering with other kitties, but has developed an affinity for cat loving dogs, so hopefully in her new home she’ll be partnered up with a gentle dog who’s been looking for a feline friend. Sunny can be a bit vocal when she is looking for her people, so you’ll hear her little voice calling and saying, hey, where are you, I want to be with you!

Her foster mom feels that Sunny has the disposition to do well with cat savvy children who would enjoy engaging in some play time with this little gem. Oh, and her foster mom finds this little kitty extra special because she has a kinked tail. The vet couldn’t determine whether she was born with it or if it was an old injury, but it is not causing her any discomfort.

Sunny is great with using her litter box. She eats both wet and dry food (with a preference for her daily dish of wet food), so we are requesting a home where she will continue to receive it. This sweet little girl is hoping to find a nice family that will give her the love, affection and attention she needs and deserves.
