My story

　　Bow-wow! I'm Sunkist, an adorable and curious puppy looking for my furever home. As you can tell from my photo, I have a sweet face that will melt your heart I love to play hard and nap hard on repeat. Who doesn't?

　　I'm just a baby, so be patient with me as I learn to potty outside and other basic skills that you will teach me. I'm eager to learn! I have my whole life ahead of me so think of me as your best friend for years and years to come! Contact my foster to meet me at

　　Some notes from my foster:

　　-He is very loyal and loves to cuddle. He barks at his sisters and things he is unsure of or doesn't like. He had a few episodes of growling/biting at my kids and me when he is in serious play mode, but that has happened only a few times

　　-Loves to play with balls and other stuffed toys.

　　-Likes water and getting a bath

　　-He loves our adult dog but didn't like another momma dog we brought home from Humane society (barked at her)

　　Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
