My story

We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have.Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Looking for a dog who is playful & all about a good time along with a good snuggle sesh? Then you will definitely want to meet Lillie!  Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.  Personality | This girl is one enthusiastic good time girl! When she is not playing, she is getting into a little mischieve (good chance she is a little younger than 4..) or ready to snuggle up in bed with the family kids. A typical young happy Lab! Story | Stray.  Poor Lillie was a stray in TX..  But now, she is a Colorado girl! Other Dogs | L O V E's other pups!  Lillie is all about playing, playing & more playing with the family pooches. Lillie has not met a dog she doesn't want to hang out with.  She would love to have another dog in her forever home.Cats | Curious..  Lillie is curious about the family cat and has given chase a time or two, but who can blame her when that little ball of fur starts to purr, surely the kitty wants to play Children | LOVES children!  When the day is done, Lillie hops right into bed with the family kiddos and snuggles in for bed.  She would play all day with the kids if it wasn't for that pesky school ;) Training | We are not going to lie, Lillie needs some training... Shes a typical young Lab which means she has LOTS of energy.  Her foster family keeps Lillie busy with walks, playing, enrichment toys, frozen kongs etc.  When she is not busy, she can be a little mischevious, resulting in some counter surfing.  oops!Leash | Leash training and walks are a favorite of Lillies, and she does really well on a leash! I mean, she is certainly curious about squirrels and other dogs, but is not a big puller and loves to be on her leash.Activity Level | You better be an active person to be Lillie's person!  Our girl is one busy lady who would love to spend her day's running and hiking and exploring every inch of Colorado. So be ready to explore! Health Notes | One Healthy & Happy girl!  Lillie is the perfect size, around 50 lbs. Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. December 11, 2023, 12:05 pm
