Sugar's story

　　Sweet Sugar is an affectionate and playful dog. She's ready to start a new chapter in life filled with love and adventure. At the shelter, Sugar has been friendly with other dogs. If you have a canine companion, the shelter staff can help with intros to make sure the dogs are compatible. We are still learning if she is friendly with cats.

　　Interested in adopting dog and have a cat? Please let our dog adoption team know, and they can cat test to help determine if a dog maybe able to live with a feline friend. At the shelter, we generally do not have the ability to test dogs with small children. If you have children in the family, please bring them in for a visit --i t's the best way see if the dog w ould be a good fit for your family. Adoption applications are only processed after you visit the shelter and meet the dog in person and speak with one of our adoption counselors.
