All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.
Health: Sugar has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.
History: Sugar comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.
Notes from Sugar's Foster Home: Sugar is a very sweet, loving dog. He loves his humans, but he also loves to play tug of war and fetch with all the other dogs in the house. He is an active pup who loves to run and play, but will settle down and lay on the couch next to you. He eats and sleeps quietly in his kennel, but will whine when he needs to go out to potty. We are currently working on him not jumping on everyone he meets. He would do very well to continue his training. He will do very well in a home with someone who would take him for daily walks. He loves to please his humans and does well when taught something new with consistency.
Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
