My story

　　Age: 4 years old

　　Gender: Female

　　Breed: Terrier mix

　　Weight: 53 lbs

　　Personality: Stormi is the sweetest girl ever. She adores people, kids, and would make an amazing family dog. Stormi gets along with every human she meets and is a social butterfly. She’s a medium-energy gal that loves love!

　　Education: Stormi is a very good girl who was rescued south of the border. She is house-broken and fully potty-trained. She is also crate-trained but does not need to stay in a crate at night. As far as walking on leashes go, Stormi is progressing but still needs more training, specifically on her reactivity to other doggies/animals she passes. However, when redirected or asked to sit, she can move on quickly. Stormi isn’t much of a barker (unless she sees a squirrel), and she does well during car rides. She does have the tendency to get protective of her food, so if there are other doggies in the home, she’ll have to be fed separately.

　　Favorite Activities: Stormi is a big fan of toys but an even bigger fan of her people! She’s a huge sucker for attention and just loves her humans. Stormi loves getting belly rubs and taking walks/runs. She also loves playing with other doggies and kiddos, but if it’s just her in the home, she likes to lay in the sun or at your feet. Stormi is a strong, active girl, so she’d do best with another big dog (preferably male) that can match her energy. She hasn’t been around cats, but she’s great with kids!

　　Looking for: Stormi is a perfect fit if you’re looking for a family dog who will be your best friend! She would love to be in a home that has kids, and she’d do well around other doggie siblings, too (just be sure to provide a slow introduction to them). She would benefit from more leash and barrier reactivity training and someone who will play with her! While she loves to have company during the day, she would also be okay to be left alone, as she will mostly just lounge around waiting for you to return. Sunny skies are overrated… adopt sweet Stormi!
