STORM's story
Have you met STORM?
Well, as of today, I have...and I so wish I could wave a magic wand and find her the perfect home!
Storm's human mom passed away earlier this month but she made an impression on the hospice nurse and she felt compelled to help find this sweet girl a new home.
You see her owner did not have any family and none of her friends or neighbors are well enough to care for her. Storm was a stray that she took in but was never physically able to get her to a vet. Her name is Storm because she was found in a storm drain.
Considering that she never saw a vet in 2 years, Storm is a healthy and happy girl. A bit shy when first introduced to strangers, she quickly warms up in the company of toys and hugs. She is gentle and calm...playful but not overly exuberant. She is curious with her surroundings and those green eyes just take everything in...you can see that she is just processing it all as it is thrown at her.
When you pick her up she just snuggles into your neck, purring and making biscuits...she loves when you talk quietly to her and tell her she is a good girl.
Patience...kindness...love...that's what this little girl needs. She just needs someone to love her and provide her with a stable home.
If you think you have what she needs...please call us at
or stop by the clinic during business hours.
Please share Catisfaction Family...we so want Storm to find her purrfect people.
PS She did get along with the neighbor's Chihuahua...with proper introductions she may do fine with a small, cat-friendly dog.
