My story
Stooge is an 1-year-old male Pit Bull who has already been neutered. He has a chocolate coat with white markings. Stooge is a very handsome guy--VERY HANDSOME! He weighs 60 pounds so he is considered to be a large dog. Stooge was brought in by county animal control; and according to a neighbor Stooge has been chained to a tree since he was a puppy. He should not be in a home with small children because he is high energy and might knock a small child down. Stooge would be just fine with older children. If you have another dog, you would need to bring your dog out for a meet and greet with Stooge to make sure they get along. Stooge has been in a foster home while being treated for heart worms. His foster family has shared that Stooge loves playing with toys and knows the commands 'sit' and 'down'. Stooge is very loving and sweet but his energy, at times, is abundant. He is both house trained and leash trained. Stooge would enjoy life best with an active family who would take up a lot of time with him. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. November 21, 2022, 2:08 pm
