My story
FOSTER NEEDED--SPECIAL NEEDS HAS BEEN INDICATED ON STOOGE'S BIO BECAUSE HE IS HEART WORM POSITIVE AND NEEDS TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME. Stooge is an 1-year-old male Pit Bull who must be neutered before he goes into a foster home. He has a chocolate coat with white markings. Stooge is a very handsome guy--VERY HANDSOME! He weighs 60 pounds so he is considered to be a large dog. Stooge was brought in by county animal control; and according to a neighbor Stooge has been chained to a tree since he was a puppy. He should not be in a home with small children because he is high energy and might knock a small child down. If you have another dog, you would need to bring your dog out for a meet and greet with Stooge to make sure they get along. Stooge would need to be in a foster home for 6-8 weeks while he is being treated for heart worms. PAHS will provide everything you needs to take care of Stooge--food, bedding, crate, etc.; and PAHS will pay for his heart worm treatments. Please consider fostering this big guy and helping him. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative. September 1, 2022, 9:05 pm
