Stone needs a home- quickly! Please share and open your heart and home if you know of anyone looking to give a one-owner, 10 year old dog the rest of the best years of his sweet life! RESCUE FRIENDS: I need your HELP! I received a phone call from a very nice woman who's daughter is struggling with mental health issues and can no longer care for her canine companion whom she has had for 10 years. Please see below and if anyone can help with this sweet Senior I believe this dog is worth it. I don't help people who aren't trying to help themselves. They even have an ad in the paper. They are heartbroken. The mother rents from a friend and can't have a dog there. "Stone is a 10-yr old male pit bull. He is white with caramel spots on his body and around his right eye. He weighs between 75 and 80 pounds. He has been a one-owner dog since he was a puppy. He is house-trained, neutered and follows an array of commands. He is conditioned to live in either a small or large home and has excellent dinner manners. His family consists of two small children and their mother, who has become too ill to care for Stone. He has not lived with other animals for about four years, since his sister passed away and would do best in a home where he is the only pet. He has no history of not getting along with other dogs however. Stone is older and still loving life. He just needs a family that he can just love and hang out with.
