This was the late 50's TELEVISION series which groomed McQueen for his future "breakout" function in his very first significant film duty in "The Magnificent Seven". He didn't have leading billing, his experience as the character Josh Randall in "Wanted Dead or Alive" helped push him over Yul Brynner who was supposed to be the star of the movie. Brenner could not ride a steed extremely and he never felt comfortable with a weapon. McQueen came off like a natural.
McQueen ended up being called "Mr. Cool" for his distinctive design initially demonstrated on these DVD's marketed. He ended up being most popular for his function in "The Great Escape" and cemented his popularity for both the '68 Mustang Fastback and himself in motion picture history in "Bullitt".
FYI: Anyone who enjoys Steve McQueen will certainly wish to see "The Tao according to Steve". Not a bad depiction of how Mr. Cool handles himself.
10 dollars for an intro to Steve McQueen in his very first TV starring duty is an exceptional cost. I've viewed both these DVD's-- they play great and are in fantastic shape.
They are all in Black & White in high resolution.
