Steve's story

　　Little dogs tend to get noticed a lot quicker than the bigs at the shelter, and so I'm always confused when a friendly little makes it to longtimer status. Well consider me puzzled once again, with Steve! Five year old Steve has been at the shelter over 30 days, but... this guy is an absolute doll! He's friendly and has just the right amount of spunk. He loves to go on walks, and will readily hop right in your lap for pets and a nap. Treats? Yes, please! Home cooks out there, Steve is ready and willing to be your taste tester. Steve also does well with other dogs he's met at the shelter and would love to meet your dog from home- bring them in for an intro!

　　I love big dogs, but there is something truly incomparable about the comfort a little lap dog can give! Come get some cuddle comfort from Steve, at the MCAC West shelter (2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx). Guaranteed you won't leave without him. ;-)

　　Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Steve's $25 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license.
