My story

　　Steve is an 8-month-old male Border Collie mix who has already been neutered. He is mostly black and has gorgeous white markings. Steve currently weighs 32 pounds and we believe he will be a medium sized adult dog (30-60 pounds). He came to PAHS as a stray and his owner never came looking for him. Since he is a Border Collie mix he is active and playful; so we know he would appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. Steve is good with other dogs and would be just fine in a home with children. Please come out and meet Steve--he is just a great all around dog! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
