i recently made a steel sculpture for my college art class, and due to all the compliments i got i was interested in trying to sell some of my art work so i figured theres no better place than on the internet, so as u see in the photos the sphere is made from 42 steel punch outs each 1/8 in thick 2 1/4in. in diameter welded together with 8 steel leaves tack welded on top with a 3in hole in the center, the sphere is 11 1/2 inches diameter from handle to handle, the sphere itself is 12 inches in height, the legs made from 3/8 cold rolled steel are 16 inches in height with a 1/4in base plate in the middle 7 1/8in diameter, the space between each leg is 10 1/2 in. with a total height of 28inches(2ft4in)it looks good where ever you want to put it, outside, in the house, the corner in your house, by the front door to put your umbrellas, walking canes, or whatever the desired use, it took roughly around 16 hours through a 5 day period about 3hrs a day(had other obligations and classes to attened) im asking $130 o.b.o. for this piece giving the man hours and resources put into this project( materials, gas, wire feed for my mig welder) and id like to sell it to someone who appreciates various styles of art, but also im not too stubborn on the set price, im willing to come up with a price that both the buyer and i are comfortable with, especially being a college student i feel that even a little bit of funds is better than none at all, just looking to make a little extra pocket cash, and besides the fact im not even a famous artist lol, so with that being said, if the asking price is too steep, jus ask me, so that way we can both agree on something, i hope to get some calls soon, ask for Luccas
