Cocoa -- She is approximately seven or eight years old. She is spayed, has had all of her shots, has been micro chipped, and is an adorable little girl. She does very well with other dogs her size and loves to play. She probably would do best with older children. She loves to jump up in your lap and either have you pat her, or just allow her to nap with you close by. In the pictures, she has a white streak over the top of her head. Her re-home fee is $200.
A little more information about Squeak's Retreat: at Squeak's Retreat all of the dogs live in our home as part of our family. THEY ARE NEVER CRATED, but are allowed the run of the house. Also, they are inside dogs -- and should NEVER be left outside for an extended period of time. They are all fed at the same time, and for the most part, there is never any fighting. It is the intent of Squeak's Retreat that when you re-home one of our little ones, there is nothing that you have to do. They will have been neutered, they will have received all of their shots, they will have received their micro-chips, and they will have recently been groomed. All you have to do when you get your new little one home is love them and feed them. We also send each dog to their new home with the food that they have been eating -- both dry and canned. We do have an application that must be filled out as well as a contract that must be signed. We also require that the new owner visits their chosen baby at least twice before they will be allowed to take them home. Many of our babies have lived with a great deal of trauma for most of their lives. They either were found as a stray or were owner-surrendered (generally from a very bad environment).
