　　I'm SPOT and I'm so soft and fluffy -- I LOVE belly rubs and rumor has I possess a magical tummy that brings stellar good luck to all who rub it!! There's definitely magic in my large black spot, because it is softer, more velvety hair than even the rest of my handsome salt and pepper self!

　　I LOVE to RUN, and my game is tag with my friend Lacey! (She thinks I cannot catch her, but I am a complete gentleman and I let her win!)

　　I may do fine as an only dog since I really enjoy my humans. I have become much slimmer and trimmer with my newfound activity, and I hop onto the sofa for snuggles with EASE! I'm told that I'm SO MUCH like a dog named BERT, personally I don't see it because he's a couple years younger and not nearly as handsome. :o) (Do you see it? Whatever!) Look at ME and know that *I'm* the most interesting and special spotted dog you could hope to meet! :D

　　We encourage you to register on our site and "Favorite" the dog(s) that interest you, so that you will be notified when bio or photos are updated.

　　**IMPORTANT**

　　"Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly, playful dog that lives in the same household.

　　"Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence . (It does not mean a nearby fenced area/dog park.)

　　Gates must have padlocks and thresholds (cement or buried pavers to prevent digging.)

　　Yard and patio must be free of debris and have room for dogs to run and play on a lawn and/or a very shaded area.

　　We do not place dogs in situations where there are "drained" or empty swimming pools, which are a fall hazard and contribute to the propogation of mosquitos.

　　We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life is taking them next.

　　Dogs remain posted while we screen potential adopters. As long as dog is designated "Available" we continue to accept applications.

　　We are staffed by all volunteers and use an application protocol to handle all inquiries about adoptable dogs. This system enables an efficiency that allows us to save and care for more dogs. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling of a home check or other dialogue - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Thank you!
