My story
Conquer the seas of joy with him!Ahoy matey! I mean, hello! I am Sparrow, a 2 year old, neutered male Terrier mix, weighing about 40 lbs. I was rescued from TJ with the rest of my Pirate crew in a pretty bad shape, with a broken leg that never healed properly. TAP and the amazing vets helped me get better and being a tripawd now is much better than being in uncomfortable pain previously. It just adds to me amazing persona as a strong pirate boy! I have picked up bathroom training, and working on my leash manners. I am crate trained, but me and the other doggo are like calm seas at home alone, all good!I am a pretty ARRRR-some dude if I may say so myself. I am sweet, cuddly and love to snuggle on the couch with my people. I have moderate energy and after running the ship, errr, the house for a bit, I like to go back and chill. I rather like playing with rest of my mates, and the dogs and I get along great! My St. Bernard foster sis is pretty cool and lets me win the tug of war too, at times. I have learnt how to play fetch, but in true pirate fashion, I steal and run away. I get quite excited when I see my favorite people, but I settle soon enough with a good bone to chew. I may lick and nibble out of excitement, like corn cobbles, so older kids who may help me get over it, are better. I like to be around kiddos, not a problem. I am a dog thru n thru, and no cats for this boy!A family who will be ready to conquer the 7 seas, and then cuddle hard rest of the time will be amazing! And when we are out on the choppy waters, let's make it not too much. Low to moderate exercise is my sweetspot. A home with an amazing dog to play with me will be pretty cool! My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application##1271339##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sparrow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
