Spaniel - Maxine - Medium - Adult - Female - Dog

　　MAXINE WOULD DO BEST IN A ONE OTHER DOG HOME THAT IS BIGGER THEN HER. WE SHOULD MENTION SHE LOVES! TO WATCH TV. FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT....

　　Maxine is a very sweet and smart dog who is so ugly she is cute. She weighs about 40 lbs and is about 6-7 years old. Throw a ball or toy and she will act like a puppy. She loves to chase toys and absolutely loves people of all ages. She knows sit, stay, no, and shake and is always eager to learn new commands. Maxine is extremely food motivated and will do anything for a few extra bites of kibble.

　　Maxine is technically in kidney failure but you would not know it. She drinks extra water and requires water on her prescription diet dry food but that is the extent of her needs. A couple of fish oil pills per day also help her dry skin. She has only one eye but that doesn't stop her from playing.

　　She walks well on a leash and loves to go anywhere in the car. She does great in public places and follows direction well.

　　Maxine is dog selective and there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to her selection. It all seems to be personality. She loves to play with certain dogs especially small and large male submissive dogs. Maxine has also done well with extremely alpha male and female dogs. She does not share her toys well but can easily be redirected.

　　She is up to date on immunizations, spayed, and is completely potty trained with a doggie door or not.

　　We are in need of a long term foster for this girl.
