It's a Sovereign acoustic archtop guitar. I assume it is a Harmony Sovereign, but there is no Harmony model stamp on the inside back, nor Harmony year stamp on the inside stamp. Therefore, I'm wondering if it is a pre-1940 Oscar Schmidt Sovereign. Oscar Schmidt sold the Sovereign brand name to Harmony in about 1940. This guitar has been much played. The cowboy position fret board and frets are very worn. For unknown reason, the prior owner cut a large squarish shape above the bridge. There are several top grain cracks around the bass side f hole. The pickguard is missing. The back is separated from the sides in spots. Some of the canvas elements on the inside back are loose. The plank tuner strips are mismatched. I don't think either of them are original, but I don't know. It is a serious repair project. Who's up for it? Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 46"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
