My story
Sweet, precious Sophie was found in the middle of the highway by a very kind lady and thought to be dead from being hit by a car. When the lady went to move her to the side of the road, she surprisingly discovered Sophie was still alive and rushed her to a veterinarian. Thankfully, Sophie has recovered from her injuries in a wonderful foster home. Sophie is very treat-motivated, has learned to potty outside, as long as you read her signals (if you don't, that's on you, so clean it up and don't blame her!), loves going for walks, and gets along great with her canine foster siblings, both young and old. Sophie is submissive and slow to trust new people, but when she feels safe, she is a little love bug. She will need a patient adopter and would do best in a home without young children. Sophie loves to cuddle, snack (too much!) and is crate-trained. She is ready for her forever home and would love to show you her favorite trick of catching food in her mouth! She needs an adopter who can deal with a few accidents until they learn her "tell" and doesn't believe dogs are disposable but are family members. Don't adopt if you aren't ready for FOREVER.
