Sony RCD-W500C CD Changer and Recorder. I was able to test both decks for playback and it worked fine with both decks. CD changer side works perfectly with all five slots. Recorder side plays fine as well. This has been sitting around for a while and initially the drawer on the recorder was hanging slightly when closing, but after a few uses began working fine.I was unable to test the recording ability - this model is fairly picky about blank media and ONLY works with blank MUSIC CDs. IT DOES NOT WORK WITH DATA CDS! This is true of this model IN GENERAL, not just this unit. And I don't have any blank music CDs to test with. This was purchased new by my father (probably in 2008 judging by the mfg date) and used by him at church to record services until he passed away in 2012. But no one else in the church understood how to use it so my mother took it back and it's just sat since then. It was still recording fine at that point, and given that both decks still playback fine I would expect the recording to work as well.Overall this unit is in very good shape. A few small scratches on the top from being in a stack with other audio equipment. The original left function knob was lost and is a 3D resin printed replacement I made. It's almost indiscernible from the original on the right other than being a flatter black shade.
