Bought this new CD player in 2001, then recently the blue light failed to come on (and the plate stopped rotating and the disc retrieval arm would not pick up the CD). It was working fine before that. (so I have bought another used M555ES, and it works great with the original remote). This one offered that is not working might be used for parts?  Only the base unit is offered here. No REMOTE, no capstan bands, no User Manual. Will be shipped UPS ground in the same box and with the packing that my used replacement unit came in.  I will not accept a return- the unit doesn't work, but could perhaps be made operational by the purchaser.
