My story
08/14/21 This energetic pup is Soley. Soley was surrendered to the shelter due to behavioral issues that didnt mesh with the children in her previous home. Soley gets very easily stimulated and can be quite anxious. We are requiring that she goes to a home with out children under 12 years old. Soley was described as being mouthy but not aggressive. Soley was said to be kennel trained, housebroken, rides well in a vehicle, and knows a few basic commands such as sit, down, drop it. Soley does not have a good recall and can not be trusted off the leash. She needs to be in a secured fenced in area or on a leash when outdoors. She is also quite the puller on the leash and might enjoy being harness trained. Soley was said to have a few naughty tendencies such as digging and chewing. Soley is an independent girl not eager to please but can be affectionate on her own terms. She will need a lot of physical and mental stimulation to live her best life. She was said to do ok with other dogs but can play pretty rough. If you have the time to devote to this girl and are interested in meeting her please give the shelter a call!
