My story
Socks is a friendly, but shy girl, who came to us at the end of July with her two babies. It's difficult to imagine her as a momma, as she looks like a kitten herself. Her petite body has beautiful torbie with white coloring. Socks was a stray cat being taken care of by people in the neighborhood she lived in. After she had her babies, her caretakers took her to get spayed. Since she was an outdoor cat, and assumed to stay that way, her left ear was tipped. But with time, Socks became friendlier, and we were asked if we could give her and her babies a chance. One of her kittens was already adopted, and we would like to see the same for Socks. Her ideal home would be a quiet, relaxed place, where she can continue to gain trust and confidence. It would have a calm cat to be her companion, and show her what life in a home is all about. Socks is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV/FELV. You can meet Socks at our cat lounge, located at 11310 W Southwest Hwy, Orland Park (on Southwest Highway just west of Wolf Road) during our open hours. If you'd like to adopt Socks, please complete our online adoption application here or on our website, ogafil.org. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT OFFER SAME DAY ADOPTIONS, AND WE NEED AT LEAST 24 HOURS TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Socks, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
