My story

Socks is an adorable Domestic Shorthair/Tabby female kitten, born approximately July 29, 2023.  Socks and her three siblings were born in her foster family’s breeze-way to a feral mamma neighborhood cat. After Socks and her siblings were taken in, the foster family had the mama cat spayed and during that time it was found out that she is “geriatric” or surprisingly old. Mama cat will now live out her days on the property, eating well and looked after. Socks was given her name because the only way to distinguish her from her sister when she was born, was because she has white “socks” on all four of her paws. Socks is the most intelligent out of her siblings. She is very curious and will be the first of her siblings to perform any challenge. She sets the standard and the rest follow. She is very curious and playful.  Socks LOVES drinking water directly from the faucet and comes running any time she hears water running. She loves cuddling but on her terms. She is also a lone wolf, so to speak. Often going off on her own in the house and sleeping separately from her siblings. However, Socks does love her humans, and plays well with other cats. Socks may be the cat for you! Socks is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). She is litter box trained.
