My story
+++ PAWSPICE ADOPTION +++Snowball is a 10 year old and 9 pound cat who is looking for her forever home with her buddy Mocha. They love each other so much they must go home together. This loving and affectionate kitty exudes charm and absolutely loves being with people. Snowball likes to cuddle, give kisses and her motor never stops. Get ready to fall in love! Her adoption fee was fully sponsored by the Friends of Jack Healy. Snowball has been diagnosed with early Renal Disease (Kidney Disease). This condition means that Snowball's kidneys are not functioning as well as they should be. Her condition will likely progress leading to a shortened lifespan. The Sacramento SPCA Pawspice Program places animals who have been diagnosed with a terminal medical condition but still have a high quality of life in loving homes until it is their time to cross the rainbow bridge. Once in their adoptive home, Pawspice animals will continue to receive palliative medical support for their diagnosed condition from the Sacramento SPCA in order to keep them comfortable. All routine vet care, vet care for unrelated illness/injury, and/or further diagnostics or treatment is the responsibility of their adopter(s). In her new home, Snowball will continue to receive her prescription diet and exams/bloodwork every 6 months to track the progression of her condition. If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Snowball *PAWSPICE*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
