My story
You need to meet this D-O-Double G!Hey, dawgs! My name is Snoop, and Iâm a 3-year-old, 54-pound Shepherd mix. Iâm just a sweet, lovable boy who is crate-trained and potty-trained. I walk well on a leash, too! Iâve been told Iâm a fast learner and am very food motivated. Iâve also already been neutered, and Iâm in great shape, health-wise.But that wasnât always the case. I was rescued by TAP when they found me fighting for my life after getting attacked by a gang of dogs in Mexico. I have since fully recovered, and I love hoomans now more than anything â especially since they saved me. Lately, Iâve been chilling with my foster family just sippinâ on gin and juice and waiting to find my furever home.Did I already mention how sweet I am? I am one of the happiest and loving souls youâll ever meet, and youâll never be able to give me enough pets. Plus, Iâve been told Iâm the best cuddle buddy around. I also enjoy playing with my stuffed animals and going on walks/runs. But even though I love to be active, I do enjoy my naps during the day and generally have a very calm demeanor.Because of what happened to me back in Mexico, I initially get anxious around other doggies. But with the right introduction, I warm up pretty fast and can feel comfortable around them. Iâve never been around kitties, though, so that would probably take some getting used to. I have no aggressive tendencies, so I would probably be okay with kids, too, but I havenât spent any time around them.My ideal furever family would be an active one who can love me with all their heart! Because I love hooman attention (and pets!) so much, I would prefer a moderate amount of company each day. I do have a little bit of separation anxiety, but Iâm not much of a barker or whiner, and can be left for hours at a time and be just fine on my own. Iâd also prefer a household without doggie siblings. If you think I sound like the perfect melody to you, Iâm your dawg! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1213967##
