My story

　　  When you think of the perfect dog in life you really need to just close your eyes and not go by the Westminster Show dog that you think it might look like.   Instead you listen to the foster mom tell you how perfectly wonderful her foster named Snookie truly is.   A foster who has been rescuing for over 30 years and who has seen tens of thousands of dogs that need a home.   She has fostered thousands upon thousands over the years and few can be given the honor of being called…..The Most Perfect Dog….like Snookies has been dubiously awarded as a title. This little 6 year old boy is only 24 pounds and has just the most darling personality and wonderfully compact size that will meet most everyone’s criteria in life. We think this guy has Dachshund/Corgi in him and then some more of the Super Mutt category.  He never meets a stranger be it animal or humans of all ages.  He loves everything and everyone!  Miss Peggy, his foster mom, says you can never have a bad day around Snookie.  He just spreads his happiness and joy every minute of the day.  His light shines brightly in this world and he has victoriously escaped a bad living condition that was labeled “hoarding and neglect” by the local authorities who took all  the animals from the home.  Snookie escaped and we have made it our mission to find this boy a happy and bright family or person to be his new people and home.  This boy is still working on 100% housebreaking since his former owners lived with no expectations of their multiple dogs.  He is getting the hang of it.    He is ready to fill your life with a joy and a purpose to go through each day with a Snookie smile to make things better and special.  Get ready for some very special snuggles.  If you are interested please email us at [email protected]   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at
