UPDATE: Slick (on the inside) has married an unreleasable Rock Pigeon widower named Sam and they are available for adoption together. While they both have wing issues that prevent them from being able to return to the wild, they can fly and would do great in an aviary.
Slick is a formerly feral pigeon hen, age unknown, who was rescued as an adult with a wing boil suggestive of paratyphoid. She has limited flight ability due to permanent damage to her joint. She gets along well with other birds, and tolerates human handling. She would do well in an aviary with low perches and a low nest box, as she spends much of her time on the ground. She's currently single and would love to find a mate and a home! Please apply to adopt /birds/apply-to-foster-or-adopt/
