Meet Skipper the tri-pawed pup! He is a 4 year old, 23 lb pound, terrier mix. He was hit by a car and the vets couldn't save his leg. He hardly notices it, though, as he can run and jump up on couches! He is very gentle, smart, and loving. He is working on the potty training. Skipper walks extremely well on leash, he loves walks and likes car rides once he is settled into a cozy spot. He gently takes a treat from you, and leans into you if you are not sitting down for cuddles. He likes other dogs but needs to be introduced correctly. He currently has 2 Great Danes at his foster house and he acts like he is as big as they are. They play rough and tumble all day long! He is curious about cats but did not chase them. Just wanted to look and smell them. Would be a great family dog. His exercise requirements are less than a 4 legged terrier, but he loves to wander and smell everything. He can be a little shy at first but is a true cuddle bug at heart. Skipper is current on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $250 Skipper is ready to go to his forever home.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
