Hi!
My
name is Skipper.
I'm a small cattle dog dalmatian mix, less than 30 lbs, about 11 mos. old, who ended up in the high kill Stanislaus shelter in Modesto.
Shelter staff was so taken with me, when the shelter became overcrowded they contacted Rescue to make sure I got out of the safe.
I was able to hitch a ride on transport to Southern California at the last minute .. whew!
I'm a shy boy, a bit intimidated by large dogs, so i live with a group of smallish dogs (although as you can see from the photos, i go on walks with "the big guys".)
I am good with other dogs and because I am deaf, i would be best in a home with another dog or two, so i have someone to pal around with.
I would be fine with children over 4.
I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped so I'm ready to go home anytime.
I am so missing having a family .. couldn't you make room in your home and your heart for a big eared boy like me?
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc. by email (preferred) at [email protected], or by phone at .
