Silvia's story
Oh my bunny.... those ears! :-D
Silvia has big ears and a big heart! This pretty lady has been in and out of the shelter since March, through no fault of her own. She first showed up as a stray, and although her owners were contacted from a number on the microchip, they never answered. She was adopted in August... showed up as a stray again... and her last owner said they had moved and rehomed her to "someone from some site" :-(
Despite Silvia's bad luck, she has a happy disposition and is always excited to meet a new friend. She enjoys the finer things in life, like booty scratches and squeaky toys! Silvia knows "sit" and "paw" already and will readily show off her tricks in exchange for a few treats.
Silvia did well with the other dogs during her eval. She was friendly and excited to greet everyone, and had good social interactions. Her prior eval during March went the same way. If you have a dog at home, bring them in to meet Silvia!
You can visit 1 yr old Silvia at the MCAC West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Silvia's $25 adoption fee includes spay, rabies certificate and County license.
