Silkie 29762's story
Silkie is a 2-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) who must be spayed before she is adopted. Her long coat is black with brown markings; and she only weighs 5 pounds so she is an itty bitty baby. Silkie came to PAHS as a stray from out in the county and we are absolutely shocked no one has claimed her. This little doll is as sweet and loving as any dog we have ever seen. Silkie is a bit timid and shy at first but she quickly warms up to kindness and love. She would make an excellent companion for just about anyone. Silkie would be fine in a home with children but we would suggest she NOT be in a home with larger dogs since she is so small. We also are going to require that she be an inside dog only. After all Silkie has already gotten lost once outside and we would never want that to happen to her again. If you are looking for a loving and small dog to call your own; and you are willing to give her an amazing home--please come meet Silkie.
