Sidney's story
Sidney is a 7 year old yorkie. She was attacked by a bigger dog about a year ago and her owners let her suffer in pain, never bringing her to the vet. After she was relinquished to us we were able to do x-rays and find out that she had a spine injury. At this point since they never brought her to the vet is has healed on it's own, just not perfectly. Because of this, Sidney does walk with a limp, but all vets seem to agree she is not in pain anymore.
Sidney is a sweet, sweet girl. She gets along well with other dogs and really just likes to hang out. She is snuggly and low-key. Her foster mom says she is the easiest foster she has had so far. She is potty trained and very obedient. She would be perfect for an individual who is looking for a lap dog, or just a companion to hang out with. She has been through a lot and will need someone who will love her unconditionally because she truly has so much love to give. She also has so much life left in her and has become very happy now that she knows she is safe and loved.
She is a non-shedding dog so will need regular grooming appointments.
