My story

　　Meet Shrek! Shrek is an 8 month old Catahoula mix that was adopted out as a much smaller puppy but was unfortunately returned back to us this November due to housing situations. This outgoing little man has such a big heart for meeting and playing with new people! He does really well around other dogs, but with his high energy, we recommend he go to a home with dogs that will be able to keep up with his playful self! He will also need many enrichment activities to help with that high energy, such as chews, lick mats, and some dog puzzles. This sweet boy is going to need a family that will be able to keep up with him and be able to take him on many walks, runs, and maybe even some hikes! Shrek does well around all adults but can be a little too energetic for most small children.If you are interested in meeting Shrek, please submit an application at Valley Animal Center, our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.
