My story
Shorty is an 1-year-old male Basset Hound/Retriever mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He came to PAHS because his owner passed away and he needs a new home. Shorty is simply put--a very handsome fellow! His medium to long coat is brown with some black highlights; and it has a gorgeous shine to it. We love Shorty's plume like tail that wags a lot! He weighs 48 pounds so he is a medium sized dog. Shorty would be great in a home with children because he is super friendly and very sweet. he also gets along just fine with other dogs. This guy is very responsive to any attention shown to him. We know Shorty must miss his owner terribly and he is searching for any love and kindness he can get. He would absolutely love a fenced yard where he could safely play and entertain you as he romps about. We think Shorty is a wonderful boy who needs a new, loving adopter. He will return your affection with companionship and devotion.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shorty 35125, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
