All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet.

　　This precious pup is Shirley, a 1-2-year-old female retriever mix. Shirley

　　has a pretty reddish tan coat and the cutest face with a soft hunting dog muzzle.

　　She is a nice medium size weighing 33 pounds and needs to add a few more pounds on her.

　　Shirley was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been down there in October 2017, adopted but returned due to "unrealistic expectations" in early m December.

　　She had been down there for over 3 months so she needed out.

　　Shirley is one of the sweetest dogs you will meet.

　　She is very friendly and social.

　　Shirley has some playful energy and would make a nice walking/jogging buddy.

　　She might could live in an apartment but only if she gets plenty of daily exercise.

　　Shirley will require a fenced in yard if left outside any unattended.

　　She seems to get along with most dogs but a trial would be advised if other pets are in the

　　household.

　　Shirley should be good with children aged 8 and older.

　　We have started on her crate training. Shirley is up to date on her vet care,

　　spayed, heartworm negative and is microchipped. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

　　This nice dog is ready for a loving home where her owner(s) understands dogs and dogs behavior.
