　　Eugene is a male Shih Tzu approximately 4 years of age. He is short and stocky, weighing 14 pounds. Eugene has lovely, soft, non-shedding fur that is a creamy ivory in color with dusky light gray on his ears and tail. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter puppy cut. His fur will grow long if allowed. Eugene is a happy-go-lucky, mellow, nice little dog. He truly enjoys the company of people and will stay close by your side. He is a gentleman and enjoys the finer things in life - such as a tasty treat or two. The way to Eugene's heart is definitely his belly which is round and loves to be filled with yummy food. Eugene walks well on leash and has a nice amount of energy without being hyper. He will strut proudly out in public, or go for a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood. Eugene is a happy participant in whatever you decide to do. He just loves to be included in your daily life. Eugene rides nicely in the car and is a good little co-pilot. He gets along fine with other dogs and seems to be very tolerant. Eugene prefers a more peaceful environment and will sit off to the side when the doggie play starts to get rambunctious. He mostly prefers sitting snug in your lap or curled up close at your feet. Eugene came in stray to a very high kill shelter is an awful state of neglect. He is healthy and beautiful now, and wants to find a home that will care for him properly. He promises to be a very faithful, friendly little companion. Eugene is ready for his forever home today!
