Shih Tzu - Doodlebug - Small - Adult - Male - Dog
Doodlebug is a 5-year old Shih Tzu mix. He is a playful, fun boy who also loves to snuggle with his person at the end of the day. Doodlebug adores his person, but would do best with a female owner, as he has some fear of men. He would also be best in a home with no other pets or small children because he loves to have all the attention on him! He is working on his socialization and learning to not fear other people, but he still prefers to just be with his person. Doodlebug loves to play fetch and go for car rides! He is crate-trained and house trained. Doodlebug is a smart dog and knows some basic commands, like sit, wait, come, and back. He learns very quickly and likes a routine. His favorite treats are Pupperonis! When his foster mom gets home from work, every day they go outside and run and play fetch in the backyard. Then when it is time to go in, Doodlebug comes when called and runs right up the stairs to his crate, but not before stopping at the treat cabinet. He know where the treats are kept and he knows that if he goes into his kennel he gets yummies!MARF animals are usually placed with fosters dedicated to preparing our animals for adoption. We hold weekly adoption events to allow potential adopters to meet our animals. This event is currently being held at Petco on Hwy. 72 in Madison. Please check our website for any schedule changes due to special events. You may also request to meet a certain pet or speak with their foster by sending an e-mail to [email removed]. MARF animals are up to date on shots, and spayed/neutered, if old enough.
Please visit our web-site at for an adoption application. This is *not* a contract, but simply allows us to match your needs with those of your new pet and to answer questions more thoroughly. Thank you for your interest in our organization!
