Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie - Belle - Medium - Adult - Female

　　Belle is a seven year old sweet and beautiful sheltie that was recently turned over to our rescue by her owner. Belle is definitely a large and oversized sheltie tipping the scales at around 48 pounds (she actually even seems larger). We think with a suitable diet and a little exercise she will shed some weight. She doesn't have much in the way of training but she is housetrained and becoming more comfortable on a leash. She is well-behaved and mellow inside and has gotten along fine with the several other household dogs (although she has not initiated much interaction with them). We believe she would do fine with cats. We believe she would be fine with kids but in the short time in our program has not displayed any playfulness. Just a loyal personality. Other than her weight Belle appears to be healthy, is current on shots, spayed, and micro chipped.
