Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie - Ash - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Ash is a strikingly handsome bi blue male sheltie who is about three years old. Ash was originally placed in rescue after being purchased at a puppy mill auction. Sometimes rescues will purchase such dogs to get them removed from the puppy mill conditions and to improve the dogs life. Anyway, such dogs are often under-socialized and Ash is no exception although we have certainly seen much worse shelties in our program. Still, Ash is pretty frightened of rapid movement, strange sounds, etc and would definitely be considered a flight risk if he got loose outside. But, he is showing signs of getting used to being a loved member of the household and will come up for attention and particularly when other dogs are receiving attention. He has been good with other dogs and we think he would be good with cats. Kids would probably frighten him. He seems in good health. He has been neutered and microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. He does not really have any training although he does seem housetrained.
