My story
I must admit, the first six years of my life weren't too happy. But since I was rescued and brought to AAWL, things are definitely looking up. My foster dad says I'm a "puppy mill survivor," which I guess means I have a lot of better times ahead. Living in a home for the first time, I'm learning about potty training and doggie doors and going on walks and accepting treats and sleeping in a real bed. So far, I like it! But, I have a long way to go. People, noises, and sudden movements still scare me, and my eyesight is not too good. I know in the right forever home I will continue making progress and become the wonderful guy I was meant to be. If you think that home might be with you, please contact my foster dad, Bob, at [email protected], and ask to see me, Sherman!
