This gorgeous young lady is Sandy, a one year old Shepherd/Collie mix. She has a thick grey and black coat that will need regular grooming/brushing. She is a medium/large dog, weighing 43 pounds and we dont think she will get much bigger. Sandy was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been surrendered along with two other dogs by her owner due to having too many dogs. Poor girl. Sandy is super sweet and a little shy and timid on first meeting. She likes to be with you and seems pretty playful. Sandy will require a fenced in yard and will need room to run around. But she will want to be inside with you so she does not need to be left outside all the time. Sandy should be good with children and seems to do fine with other dogs. We have started her on her crate training. Sandy is up to date on her vet care, spayed, heartworm negative and is micro chipped. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. This beautiful dog just wants a forever home to call her own, please help us find her one. Our adoption fee is $75.
