　　MIssy is the perfect addition to any household!

　　This sweetheart of a dog is Missy, a one year old female German Shepherd mix. She has a thick yellow coat with some black hair and stand up big ears, both similar to a shepherd. She is a good size dog at 45 pounds and this is fully grown.

　　Missy was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been picked up by Animal Control and no one came to claim her. Missy is pretty easy going, not too hyper or excitable. She may do better in a calmer, low stress environment. But as she settles in, she should grow more confident and more outgoing. Missy should do fine with older children, 12 and up. She seems to be sort of scared of other dogs so we think she hasn't been around them much or was well socialized. So Missy may need some help with learning to be around other dogs or may do better as an only pet. She will require a fenced in yard.

　　We have started Missy on her crate training. Missy is up to date on her vet care, will be spayed prior to adoption, microchipped and is heartworm negative. We have started her on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Missy is a very sweet dog that needs a little guidance in introducing her to the world -- what fun you will have doing it!
