　　This big baby is Gibbs, a 7 to 8 month old (as of 4/13) male Shepherd/terrier mix. He has a smooth brown and black coat and is a good size puppy weighing 37 pounds. Gibbs will get bigger, probably to around 50 pounds. Gibbs was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been surrendered by his owner who had found him, kept him for a bit, but just couldn't keep him. So poor Gibbs had been at the shelter for almost a month and was ready to go.

　　Gibbs is a very friendly happy pup. He loves to play and chase the ball. He is still a puppy so he will need training and structure to develop him into a well mannered adult dog. Gibbs is picky on who he gets along with, and seems to do better with females. A trial would be necessary to make all get along if other dogs in the household. He should be fine with children, but over the age of 12 is better since he is still jumpy! Gibbs will require a fenced in yard -- he cannot be left outside unattended. We have started his crate training. Gibbs is up to date on his vet care, neutered, microchipped and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
