Shepherd - Ezzy - Large - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Ezzy is a beautiful shepherd mix. She is house trained and crate trained. In fact, she will voluntarily go into her crate to rest randomly throughout the day. If she isn't in her crate she is generally on the couch or following you around the house. She always wants to be close to her people. She is a very smart girl and learns very quickly. In fact, when we first got her she pulled like crazy on the leash, but now she walks by our side and listens immediately to our corrections. She still gets distracted when bunnies go by, but who wouldn't? Ezzy is overall a very calm sweet girl. She likes to play when you want her to play. She plays fetch and loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. She is a bit of a talker too. She will let you know what she thinks about all sorts of things; when she is disciplined and when she feels she should be fed. She will even chat just to chat.

　　Ezzy is an alpha dog so she would prefer to be the pack leader, but she has adjusted well being under our alpha dog at home. It does take some work to maintain the order, such as letting the alpha out first, feed them first, etc. She gets along well with cats. She was interested in ours for about a week and now she could care less about the cat. In fact, they both share the bed with us from time to time. She gets along with other dogs, male and female and gets along wonderfully with children. Our 4 year old son climbs on her and often takes her outside with him when he plays in the yard. Since she is a mommy she has maternal instincts that really show.
